The Harbourfront of Halifax is a beautiful place to take a walk with breath-taking scenery. There is also plenty of shopping in the area and great restaurants.

Halifax and Nova Scotia are part of Atlantic Canada, as well as the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. All these provinces are a must see if you are in the area as they all are different from one another, as well as unique in contrast to the rest of the world. Go experience where the Viking's first landed in the America's and go into the Atlantic Ocean for some fishing adventures!! All this in Atlantic Canada.

Halifax Harbour is home to many boats, ships, sailboats, tug boats as well as the Canadian Navy, so battleship are always seen around. In addition, many tankers and fishing boats can often be spotted. A beautiful old lighthouse can also be seen within the channel.

If it is not raining when you arrive in Halifax, you probably are not in Halifax. Halifax, as well as the rest of Nova Scotia, has rainy weather constantly. Overcast is mainstay weather here, but the rain does not always stay around all day. There are many breaks during the rains and the weather can often can very nice, but not too hot in the summer months, July and August. The winters are harsh, similar to the rest of Canada..

Nova Scotia is Canada's Eastern Province and part of Atlantic Canada. Its capital is Halifax and it lies adjacent to the atlantic ocean. Nova Scotia is a province of much natural beauty and friendly people. There are many water activities that can be done while in Nova Scotia, including fishing and sailing. Numerous great university's, including Dalhousie are found in Nova Scotia.
